I know you don’t know me…yet! But I am shaving my head at St. Baldricks on March 29th on your behalf. The Luciani clan will be keeping you in our thoughts and wishing you and your family the best.
Kristina, I just read your great update!! I am so thrilled for you and your family. This means that she CAN beat this and she IS beating it. I am happy for you that for a moment you feel strong and positive. You need a day like today to continue your ferocious fight. I am proud of you and honored to be your friend. Lisa
Hi Beautiful Baby Girl!!! We love you so much and are so happy to hear the WONDERFUL news!! We know how strong you are and that you will fight this and win! Stay strong - we love you and continue to pray for you everyday!!!
Dear Mitchell family. I work with Kacey’s grandfather, John, at Banta. My wife had aplastic anemia and underwent a bone marrow transplat on Dec. 8th, 2006 at Yale. We were up on the 8th floor and spent a month there. She had an unrelated doner and is at day 96. She gets to go out in public for the first time this weekend. The people at Yale are great and I hope this gives encouragement. We think about your little girl everyday and our prayers are sent. Good Luck and God Bless.
Hi Kacey, Kristina, and Glen,
We don’t know eachother yet but it is a small world. I first heard of you from my college roommate and dear friend Courtney Campbell. In fact, Tristan is my 23 month old daughter’s future husband! They just don’t know it yet. Then, I find out that you are related to Lee Avellino, also a dear friend of ours. Lee was one of the groomsmen at our wedding. I have been checking in daily waiting for the site to be up and running again so I could write you. Your little girl is absolutely beautiful. Your whole family is in our thoughts and prayers daily. We will be at the fundraiser on the 24th along with the Campbells and Lee and Ilana. Stay strong and think positive! Courtney is an excellent resource and support that only people who have gone through this can provide. I hope to meet you some day.
Ellen, Bo, Emily and Jack Tinson
I hope all is well for you today. We received permission from Moriah’s school system to hand out fliers about you today!! We will make lots of copies and hand them out Monday!! Many, many more people will be praying for you very soon!
Hi Kacey,
Congratulations - the news we were all waiting for! I think that is one of the most difficult things - waiting. We are glad to hear you are doing okay. Keep up the good work. You CAN DO IT!!!
Kristina - Call me if you want to talk. I am thinking of all of you.
Love always, Lori, Katie, Matt & Stella
Keep fighting! We all know you are a strong little girl!!! We are so happy to hear the great news! You are in our thoughts and prayers everyday!
Kris… I know you have a ton of support but if you ever need to talk I am always here for you! You are a wonderful mother. Keep fighting with your Baby girl! Love you!
Hi Kacey, Kristina, Glen and Max. You don’t know me, but I am familiar with what you are all going thru. My son underwent cancer treatment last year. I am thinking of and praying for you all.
Best wishes,
Sara
Just saw everyone on the news. YOU DID GOOD!!!!!!!
I could hear the sadness in your voice Kristina. Kacey will be okay. She looks wonderful. Just always remember we are there for you.
Good night.
Love,
Lori, Katie, Matt & Stella
You are such a strong little girl!!! I have a baby a few months older than you. Your story made tears roll down my cheek. I was so touched I went right to my computer to find out more information and how to help. We recently had a huge health scare. My cousin had a baby that was also sick. Through family strength and faith she made it. I have all the faith in the world that you will also. Stay strong little one!!! You will be allright. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hello, this message is for Kasey’s parents. I just saw your story on Fox 61 news. The segment brought back so many emotions for me because I know exactly what you are going through. Last May, my daughter, Alyssa, was diagnosed with AML (she was one out of four at Yale). For a long time, our second home was at Yale and we did anything we could to help our daughter fight the leukemia. During our stay, we learned a lot from the staff at Yale, Dr. Joe, and from the other families that were going through the same ordeal. If you have any questions or just want to talk about Kasey’s treatment, please feel free to email or call me. I know what you are going through and I would more than happy to share some of my experiences and lead an ear.
Take care, Marie Tompkins
Kacey Girl…you are beautiful, sweet and strong. I have all the faith in the world that you will beat this poison. Many people are coming to support you at the event on March 24th. We will see you soon baby girl.
Continue to be strong and know that there are a ton of people thinking about and praying for our little monkey. Give baby girl I kiss from me and I will see you later.
I am not sure if you are aware of the Ronald McDonald House in New Haven. My cousin stayed there when her infant daughter was born with an illness. The place is wonderful. It is truly amazing. They only ask for a 15$ donation per day and also offer a shuttle to and from the hospital. You can ask a hospital social worker for more info. If you are staying there I would like to pay for a night or to for you. I haven’t been able to get your little pumpkin out of my mind. I want to help in anyway possible. Love your babies they are the greatest gift!!! Stay strong.
Amanda,
Thanks for the offer. We are aware of the Ronald McDonald house but Kacey is at an age where she can’t be left alone at all. We need to keep her from pulling her central line out and hurting herself. We also need to help with administering her oral meds, mouth care, eye drops, diaper changes and feeding. She does not trust many people other than mom and dad so it is very hard for both of us to leave her at the same time. There are a few people we can leave her with on the rare occasion that we can both go visit Max.
She is a strong monkey and I gotta believe she can beat this and that keeps us going. She is my favorite thing and I love her so much that there arent words to describe it.
Keep checking in an posting as helps us to cope. Thanks again!
Dad
Many prayers and well wishes are being sent to you from us. We are wishing Kacey (your strong monkey) strength and tolerance to fight this round, as she will the and following. She will do it and return to good health. She has alot to accomplish. Max and the entire family are waiting for her safe return home. We send Kristina and Glen our continued support. Be it a shoulder, an ear, or before long an embrace to celebrate all the achievements of Miss Kacey. She will have many. Your an inspiration to many families. You will all see brighter days. It does get better.
From one survivor to another— Love, Katie Winkle
P.S. I sent an email today we’ll keep in touch!!! Stay Strong!!! Love, BethXO
Dear Kacey and family,
I recently saw your story on Fox 61 news and you have touched my heart. My husband and I have a 3year old daughter and now we hold her even more tighly along with thoughts and prayers for you and your family. We are planning on attending the dinner in New Britain this weekend…many thougths and prayers to that sweet little girl!
Sincerely,
Amy Sardo and family
Wethersfield, CT
Just checking in again to say hi. I think about you every single day and check your site often for updates even though we have never met. I feel like I know you since we went through it with Tristan, Courtney and Rich. It sounds like round 2 is off to a rough start. I hope things get better for you soon. I am bummed I missed the newscast last night! Hang in there!
Ellen, Bo, Emily and Jack Tinson
Hi Kacey,
You don’t know us but we know your Mommy and Daddy. From what I hear from your Auntie Krista you are a little fighter and we know you can get through this, keep on fighting and show that nasty disease who is boss! Your little baby brother needs someone to show him how to get his way with Mommy and Daddy… no one can do that better than a big sister. You are in our thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Derik, Stephanie and Baby Boy Manuel (on the way)
Ellen, you can watch the interview from this site. It has been linked. Look for the words, “uphill battle”. It will take you to the news link. Scroll down to Kacey’s picture and the story will play.
Hi Kacey Rose…….Uncle Joe told me about your visit last night, I wish I could’ve been there! I miss you and we think about you every moment of the day! We are continuing to pray for you. We are looking forward to the benefit on Saturday - there will be lots of prayers that night! I will see you and blow you kisses through the webcam!!!! Stay strong baby girl!
Mommy loves you more than anything in this world. I admire your strength and will to fight. Mommy has been so sad since we found out you had leukemia but you still manage to put a smile on my face.
Kristina, Kelley told me about Kacey and this horrible disease she is so bravely fighting. I saw your story on the news the other night, you brought tears to my eyes I can see how scared you are for her. I can not possibly imagine how hard this must be for you and your family. But she is a pretty strong little girl who will make it through this . Because she has the love and support of a wonderful family. Kristina I just wanted you to know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you . You have a beautiful family. Please give my best to your Mom and Grandma. With Love, Kim
We want you to know our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.
We will be attending your benefit on Saturday night. I am amazed how resilient children are. Keep up your brave fight Kacey. Lucy loves to look at your pictures on the computer. She says, “I see the pictures of baby Kacey please.” She especially loves the birthday cake photos. We have the same “cake face” photos of Coop and Lucy. We’ll continue our prayers!
Kacey, Mom, and Dad,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers everyday and also of many more people than you can imagine. Kacey could not ask for better parents! Your love and support are sooo important. Your strong little monkey will be strong and continue to fight just like her parents.
I am glad I found this site. Remember if there is anything I can do for you, let me know.
Hi Mitchell Family…It was so wonderful to spend the day with Kristina and Kacey…I saw some very pretty smiles beneath that binki!! Your body may be in a dark ferocious fight, Kacey, but your eyes are light and full of sparkles. You were a tired, little girl, and only nibbled a little on food, but you sure love your mommy, and took full doses of her!! I will see you on the web cam Saturday night!! Kristina, you are doing all you can do to defend your baby from this monster. You are an incredible mommy and part of her healing comes from your love and safe support, your shoulder. You are dedicated and trying so hard to be positive…I commend you. Lisa
Thanks to Lisa, I was just watched the newscast that I missed the other night. You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers! We are looking forward to Saturday night. Keep fighing Kacey, like Katie Pagano says, you can do it!!! At one of Tristan’s bone marrow drives, my husband and I became registered to become donors. I hope some day we are able to help someone like Kacey and your family. Take care, sweet girl. And Mommy and Daddy too.
Ellen, Bo, Emily and Jack Tinson
I see you and mommy all snuggled up and in spite of the fact that it is in a hospital bed, it is the cutest thing! Sleep well baby girl and have some fun tomorrow. Love you lots!
Good Morning Baby Girl…there is a wonderful story in the New Haven Register today about you!! One day you will look back and hear all these stories about how many people prayed for you! You will hear about being on TV and in newspapers - we look forward to telling you these stories when you are all cured! As Uncle Joey said - summer is almost here and we need you to teach your brother and cousin to swim in our pool! I think about you all the time and it makes me sad that I haven’t gotten to visit you more often. Your cousin takes up all of my time and I can’t bring him to the hospital. Please remember how much I love you and that I am constantly thinking about you.
Kris and Glen - I love you guys. We are praying for you too, knowing that Kacey will come out on top in the end. Stay strong for your little fishstick - you all need each other right now. Please know that as soon as I get a chance, I will come to see you. I’m sorry I haven’t been able to get there more often. Please remember that I am thinking about you all every moment of the day.
Kacey, Kristina and Glen (and little Max) - I just read about the terrible journey your family is going through right now while you are fighting this dreaded disease. I feel so helpless - wanting to offer help and comfort and strength to all of you and yet, since we do not know each other, all I can do for you is help monetarily and through the power of prayer for your little girl to remain strong and fight off this cancer. I will share your story with others that I know believe strongly in the power of prayer to help your little one through this - and if by some strange miracle it turns out that my bone marrow can help your little one, please know that I will be there for you! May God Bless You All - and may God please send His Angels to surround your little Kacey with His Strength and Love and bring her back to a healthy little girl! God Speed!
To the Mitchell family I just read the article about Kacey, please except my thoughts and prayers for your beautiful daughter.
I know the road you are about to take and all the emotions you are feeling.
In June of 2004 two days before my sons 30th birthday he was diagnosed with ALL Acute Leukemia Lymphoma it was devastating he needed a bone marrow transplant there was no match including his sister, The doctors suggested a stem cell transplant from cord blood, he had this done in Nov of 2004 at the Dana Farber Cancer Inst. He is doing very well today thanks to the donor. Please ask your doctors about cord blood transplant.
I wish your family the very best may there be an angel watch over Kacey.
Bless you
Michael
Hi Honey Bunch…I hope you are feeling okay today. It was so sweet to spend time with you the other day. I look forward to our next visit. I hope mommy is feeling strong today. She loves you so much. Before you were sick, she use to tell me that she loves you so much that it hurt. One day you will think back to how your parents loved you back to health.

Hi Kacey….We are thinking about you! We are going to have a great turnout tonight for your benefit…there will be lots of prayers for you tonight! We love you!!
Hi Kacey!
We just got back from your benefit dinner - there were TONS of people there! It was a huge success! We saw you on the web-cam - you look so cute! Did you see Ashlyn?? She blew you a kiss! She was very excited to see you on “TV” and was waving to you.
Tell your mommy hello (we saw daddy at the dinner) & we hope to see you soon!
Hope you are feeling better!
Sweet Dreams!
Love ~ Stacey, Sean & Ashlyn Grace
Hi Kacey…Well last night we packed the house!! Almost all of the food went, but that was because more people came than anyone could have imagined. You know why?? Because you are on a lot of minds and in many hearts. The line was out the door to come in. We even almost closed the doors on the last group of people!! We had to warn them that if they bought a ticket, we could not guarantee there would be a variety of food for them. They did not care. They bought tickets and said they were not there to eat, they were there for you. You have touched many people, and many people have touched me now with their generosity and love for you. I wish you were there to see it for yourself. Lisa
I know many people made this event possible, and we couldn’t possibly thank everyone. However, James, who began as a stranger to many of us donated his time, his skills, his voice and his heart. He took on a major role in planning and implementing such an enormous event, and when none of us could get up on that stage and spread the word about why we were all there, he, again, stepped up to the plate. I have to give a shout out to James and his family who have now become a part of this new family of people who love and pray for Kacey. Thank you James.
Hi Kacey,
I didn’t even realize I could post on your site! Tristan had fun at your benefit (we did too) and he enjoyed waving to you on the webcam. He wants you to hurry up and feel better so he can give you a big fat kiss. We pray for you very day!
Love,
Courtney, Rich and Tristan Campbell
Hi Baby Girl - Just wanted to say that I love you!!!!!!!!! I’m thinking of you and I’m still completely overwhelmed on how many people showed up on Saturday night - all for you! You are a very special little girl!
Hi Sweetie…Lots of hugs, kisses and prayers coming your way today. We are thinking of you always and will not let people forget you are there…I promise.
Sorry we didn’t get a chance to say “bye” when we were discharged on Saturday morning. Honestly, I was pretty much positive we’d be right back at Yale since that’s Frankie’s pattern lately! But, thankfully, we’ve been four nights hospital free.
We’re sending you prayers and happy thoughts! I don’t know if you’re still there, but please know that there are people here locally who know somewhat of what you’re going through. If you ever need to talk, please feel free to pop me an email so we can exchange info! cynthia@frankiepants.com
Hi there our strong beautiful cousin. We pray for you everyday and love you so much! We can’t wait until we can come and see you. Big hugs for you Mom and Dad too.

We will be doing another fund raiser for Kacey!! The New Britain Rock Cats will honor Kacey on July 20th at a game. We will have a table there where we can earn more funds with inspirational and live strong bracelets for sale. Also, half of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to Kacey if we sell 200 tickets. They sell for $7.00 a piece and we will all have seats together. They will publicly honor Kacey and allow someone of our choice to throw the first ball. The game is on a Friday night and so there are usually fire works following the games. The woman to contact on the flier is my mother, Lucy, but you can also contact Lisa or Dave at 203-687-7864 for tickets. Thanks!! ;D
We know how difficult this ordeal is for you. We pray every day that Kacey will feel better and you can get home for awhile and visit with your new baby. Our hearts break for you all. Stay strong.
OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU EVERY DAY. I SEE YOUR PICTURE ON YOUR MOM’S DESK AND I SAY A PRAYER. YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL LITTLE GIRL (GOD BLESS YOU) AND I KNOW YOU WILL BE A SURVIVOR. JUST LOOK AT THE SUPPORT AND PRAYERS YOU ARE GETTING. IT IS AMAZING. YOU ARE AMAZING.

Good luck tomorrow at clinic. We will be saying extra prayers for you tonight precious Kacey — sleep well.
I am so very proud of you Kacey. Whenever I feel weak, I think of your strength. I have never loved anything so much in my entire life. Mommy begs you to keep fighting.
Kacey girl…the Halls are always talking about you and thinking of you. I see your lights on across the street and I am so happy to see life in that house. I am happy that you are having fun at home, swinging on your swing and taking walks with mommy and daddy and Max. One day you will come over here, you will be bigger, and we will talk about this time in your life. Angels and prayers sent to you tonight to keep you well and free from harm.
We are so happy to hear you are home! It sounds like you are having a good time with daddy, mommy and Max. We pray everything goes well at clinic tomorrow. We are always thinking of you. Keep fighting. We will be in CT in June so you need to get better so you can play with Cooper!
Hi Baby Girl! We are so happy that you are home! You have to continue to stay strong and keep fighting! We know you can do it because you’re a fighter!!! We love you very much and think about you constantly. Our prayers for you haven’t stopped for a second! Looking forward to seeing you…
I am happy to hear you are back home with Max. Kris and Glen, it must be wonderful to be together at home. It’s good that you have this time between rounds of chemo.
Kacey, keep strong. I can’t wait to be able to visit you and your brother.
Remember, our prayers are with you each and every day.
It was so good to hear your voice today! Keep fighting baby girl! Your Mommy and Daddy love you so much! You need to get better soon so you can go to “DISNEY”.
Kristina and Glen - I feel compelled to let you know that I think you are both awesome parents and Kacey is amazing! Keep letting your little girl eat and drink whatever she wants - the chemo treatments must make everything taste weird in her little mouth - and the important thing is to find out what she likes now (which may change every day) and then fill her up on it. I helped a friend through her chemo treatments for breast cancer - and found that the best thing you can do is help her find out what makes her feel a little better and to be flexible. When my little granddaughter was ill and in the hospital with the RSV virus, her schedule was all messed up too. But I believe that the best thing you can do is comfort little Kacey by hugging her and sleeping with her and being there for her when she needs and wants you - your loving care is all she truly needs from you - and you are giving her all of that. When Kacey is well again, she will find her own schedule again - but for now, she needs you nearby - and I suspect that some part of you wants her nearby always too so that you know she is safe in your arms. Don’t doubt yourselves or your motherly/fatherly instincts - and know that your daughter will let you know what she needs from you - just listen to her! God Bless You and your little ones - and know that many who do not know you personally care deeply about your struggles and are praying fervently for Kacey’s health and your family’s care! God Speed,
hey kacey you dont know me but when i heard of you i was just so sad that this happened to you. stay strong and im sure you wil get through this. its such a hard thing that ou get this kind of thing so young.
from robert
I am so happy to hear that Kacey is home. I think about all of you everyday. Kacey sounds like a wonderful little girl and she has wonderful, loving parents and family by her side everyday.
Hi little Kacey…You are so darn cute. I hear you in the background telling mommy, “I know” to everything she says. I hear you even handed her a tissue the other day when she was sad. You are so sweet and adorable. I pray you have a restful night’s sleep and your body continues to heal and defend itself.
Hope you had a wonderful Easter - it sounds like you did! I am so glad to hear that you are so full of energy & having fun! Ashlyn can’t wait to play with you this summer! You guys will have a blast!
You keep on fighting & stay strong - you will make it through this - we know you will!
Hope to see you soon!
Love ~ Sean, Stacey, Ashlyn & Caelyn

We will be praying for beautiful Kacey Rose and for you Kristina and Glen.
Hi Baby Girl….It was so GREAT to see you last night! You are so full of energy and oh so cute! We know that you will come out on top and fight this terrible disease to the end! We love you very much!!!!! You are always in our thoughts and prayers!
Hi Kacey I had so much fun with you on the trampoline! I loved how you would run around me and then hug me. You were so sweat. I love you Kacey so much. Soon I can go in the pool with you not this year but soon!!! I cant wait to baby sit you soon also. Cant wait I love you Kacey, you will always be in my heart.
Hi Everyone…Kris and Glen did not get the best news today. They asked me to post tonight. Kacey had some tests done and blasts were found. The doctors suspect they are leukemic, however they will not know for sure until tomorrow. As you can all imagine, they are very upset and surprised since she seemed to be doing so well. They are keeping their fingers crossed that she beats the odds and the blasts are just recovery ones, however the doctors didn’t offer much hope for that. If it is leukemic, she will need a bone marrow transplant and so they will move forward in that direction. They are at Y N H tonight.
Let’s keep the faith and the prayers going. We can’t give up yet.
Hey Kacey, I heard the bad news. You know what, don’t even think about it. Your going to get through this. I know you are. You know why? Because you are the sweetest and cutest little girl. I love you so much, I had so much fun with you on the trampoline, and I can’t wait until I can do that again. I loved how you would laugh so hard that you would topple over, but you got right back up, and thats why I know that you are going to make it through this because you always get back up and try again. You never give up. I love that about you. I know that chances are slim for your blasts to be not leukemic, like 1 and 100, You know what Kacey? Your going to be that 1, the one that makes it through this hard time. Your going to be the one to make it through AML, leukemia! Kacey I love you so much and I pray for you every single night, I will always and alway pray for you Kacey, I am never going to give up, even at the worst of times. Thank You Kacey, you have taught me so much, to keep trying and to have fun while doing it. I love you Kacey:)
Great news Baby Girl! You keep fighting and we’ll continue to pray for you everyday!!! You are going to beat this - we know you are!!! You continue to be strong! We love you lots!!! Love, Uncle Joey, Auntie Jodi and Cousin Jonah!
We share your highs and lows and know what a difficult journey you are on. There are so many people praying for Kacey — stay positive. I know that it is not easy and having to wait for answers only intensifies the fear that is with you every minute of every day. You are always in our thoughts and prayers. Love to Kasey.
Hi Kacey, We miss you here at home. I am glad things are going okay for you this time around. I knew you were going go in fighting. We love you and can’t wait to see you again. The prayers will keep coming.
Hi Baby Girl! It was so wonderful to see you today! You look so cute and walk around those hallways like you own the place! We know that you are going to beat this because you are so strong! We love you very much! You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers! Keep fighting!!!
My heart goes out to you and your Family. Glen is a wonderful husband and Father and I know how thankful you are to have him with you at this time, and I’m sure that he is thankful that he has a wife that is so caring and loving to her family. And very strong, I might add. Soon this will be over and you will be a whole family again.
Prayers are being said every day for kacey. She will beat this. She is a strong little girl.
Glad to hear your 3rd round is complete! We think about you every day & pray that you get better.
We know you will be running around our backyard this summer with Ashlyn, so keep getting stronger!
Hi Kacey!
Congratulations on finishing round 3! I hope you are feeling well and I can’t wait to meet you. 2 rounds to go and you will be running around your backyard playing with all your toys. Say hi to Mommy and Daddy for me!

We can’t wait to see you soon!! We send lots of hugs and kisses.
Love,
Lee & Ilana
Glen, Kris, Kacey and Max…we are so happy I can’t even express it to it’s fullest extent. Yes, our prayers are answered and little girl is going to beat the odds. Those bright, gleaming eyes are very telling. They say, “I am strong, I am beautiful and I am full of life”! I have always loved her spunk and love it even more now.
Yeah!!! We are SO overyly happy Kacey! That was the best news that we heard!!! We knew all along how strong you are - and you will continue to be this strong forever!!! We will continue to pray for you everyday and can’t express how happy we are right now! Before you know it, you will all be a family again! We love you all very much!
Dear Mitchell family - what wonderfully Blessed news for your family to receive last night - I have been praying for your little girl constantly - and sincerely hope that Kacey remains in remission always - and that you can begin to look forward to a more normal and happy family life with your two beautiful children. God Bless You All! Rita Smith
So, little Kacey, you hit a little bump in the road today with a fever. You will use that special spunk to battle through yet another challenge. Our prayers are now, and I know you will pull through once again. Keep up the good work mommy and daddy!
Hi Kacey! It was so wonderful to see you this weekend! You are just so cute - running around the backyard with your adorable hat on eating oranges! And we’re so glad that we got to see you on the trampoline with Moriah! You looked like you were having so much fun, laughing and smiling….just like you should be! We also can’t believe how big your brother got! You are a great big sister and cousin!!!! Max is very lucky to have you! We’re glad that you had a nice weekend, the weather was beautiful and you got to spend it with your family. We are continuing to pray for you everyday and know that you are going to win this battle! You continue to stay strong and tell your mommy and daddy that we love them!
Hey big girl!!! Today you and I were jumping on the trampoline today. You were so happy, you were laughing and having so much fun. Then you took your doll for a walk around my yard. You had so much fun. I love playing with you Kacey…ITS SO FUN. I love seeing you, it makes me so happy. I love you Kacey. And I cant wait to hear more good news!!! I hope you can come over everyday! I loved how I got off the bus and I saw my favorite little 2 year old! That was awesome! I really want to thank you Kacey. You taught me so much. You taught me to never give up, I loved how when you fell down on the trampoline you would just get up, wipe you hands (like they were soooo dirty) Then begin to jump again. I love you Kacey… and I know You are going to make it through this. I know you will. I know because you never give up. EVER! Even in the worst of time. You don’t care you just keep on going. I really do love you Kacey… I really really do. Thank you for being you Kacey, thank you for being there…Through the good and the bad. I REALLY DO LOVE YOU…
Hi Pumpkin…whenever I see you I swear you are a healthy, little, vibrant girl! You are so amazingly strong and resilient. I enjoy every minute with spent with you. Soon we will read some more books!
Hi Kacey, Kris, and Glen (Max too!)
We are overjoyed to read that Kacey is doing so well. Dr. Gillan always told us that babies think chemo is candy…virtually unscathed by its power! Good for you! We think of you and check on you every day. You are doing awesome Kacey!
Love,
Courtney, Rich, and Tristan Campbell
I hope you received the sticker book I sent and I hope you are having a great time with the animals.
We are so happy with the news we have been getting. You are a little trooper.
May you be strong through the rest of your chemo and soon this nightmare will be over and you and Max and Mom and Dad will be together as a family again.

You are in good hands at the hospital and hopefully soon will be able to start round 4! We love you very much and think about you constantly! Give your mommy and daddy a big hug and kiss from us - and tell them to do the same to you!
Hey my little girl…I miss you today. I am getting use to playing with you in my yard and talking to your mommy. I am happy that your fever broke and you could be home soon. I will be looking for you. Tell daddy that Dave put his wall back together for him. Love you bunches!
Hi Pretty Girl….we are so happy that you are home! We can’t wait to see you tonight! Enjoy this beautiful weather and spend lots of time playing outside with Mommy, Daddy and Max! We love you!!!!!
Hi pretty…..we are so glad that we got to see you and spend some time with you this weekend! You look cuter than ever! And it was so much fun for us, seeing you having so much fun with your bubbles!!!! It was fun to see you, Max and Jonah together!!!! Continue to stay strong!!! Hopefully you will be able to start round 4 this week and you’re on your way to the end! We love you lots!!!!
Hi cutie…see you in the back yard! I am sure Moriah will come across to play with you. The next round is coming up, and you are going to do as well as ever…lots of love.
I’m so proud of you Kacey. Please keep up the fight. Mommy loves you and Max more than anything in this world. When I think about my love for you it brings tears to my eyes.
Hi Honey…I hear you are eating strawberries and other yummies you couldn’t have before because your ANC is nice and high right now. Enjoy!! I am sure I will see you tomorrow night after work. We think you are such a special girl and can’t wait to celebrate your success when all is finished.
Just want to tell you that the feelings you are having are perfectly normal. I suffered the same feelings you are experiencing and at times still do. It’s hard not to let your mind wander and worry about all possibilities, but Kacey is doing wonderful and before you know it this will be behind you. The worry is always there, but you will gain confidence as each month brings you good news. It is also harder for you because you have a new baby and your family is separated. Don’t be so hard on yourself - what you are going through is extremely trying and takes a toll on your body. Please know that if there is anything I can do, just let Lori know. We are here for you.
God is watching over Kacey. Sending you our love and prayers.
Good Luck today Baby Girl!!!! We are continuing to pray for you and we know that these next 2 rounds will go as smooth as the first three went! We love you very much!!! Stay strong and keep fighting!!!!
Baby Girl,
You start round 4 today - 6 days and you will be home running around the yard and smelling all the flowers.
You are one amazing little girl. I know each round is hard on you but you push through it. You are tough and I belive in you. We love when you reassure us that you are gonna be OK.
You are developing into a sweet little girl and I love to hear your giggles and to get my kisses from you when I come home from work.
2 rounds to go and hopefully you will be swimming in the pool before the summer is over - Cancer free and cured!
I love you - you are my Sunshine!
I am missing you already little pumpkin…You need to come back to my house and pick my pansies!! When you are all finished, I am getting you your very own pot to pick! I look forward to your return next week. I know you will continue to prove to mommy and daddy that you are going to be okay and that you are teaching us all to appreciate life and to put things into perspective. When you are finished with your treatments, you will continue to teach by persevering as you have all along. If a little girl can get up and carry on during the fight of her life, then we can be tired, or a little sick, and over worked without complaining about it. Our challenges are nothing. You are a sweet, FUNNY, cute, bright eyed, summer hat wearing, flower picking, little monkey who is as mighty as the sky is big. Hugs, kisses and love.

Hi Kacey….well, round 4 is almost over! We are continuing to pray that things continue to be well - and that your tests come back with NO signs of Leukemia at all! We are constantly thinking about you and hope that you will be home again soon!!!
Hi Honey…so glad to hear you are doing amazingly well again. I will continue to pray and talk about you to anyone who will listen. (They have no choice, I’m their boss) Ha Ha…anyway, I am proud of you and your parents for keeping you so well. I will see you at the end of the week when you get back home, where you belong!
Kacey….we are SO happy to hear the wonderful news!!! One more round to go! Continue to stay strong and we will see you when you get home! Enjoy your time at home with your mommy, daddy and brother!
Hi little monkey…you were especially funny this weekend. Your facial expressions are priceless. You were so cute when Mommy mentioned that you were going to have ice cream at home in a few minutes. You opened your eyes very wide, raised your blond eyebrows, smiled mischievously, and said “bye bye, bye bye, bye bye!” to Moriah and I. It was apparently time for ice cream…now! We understand, we all have priorities!! Good luck at clinic tomorrow. I will call mommy to check on you in the afternoon. We love you!
Hi Baby Girl….Jonah and I had a great time today taking a LONG walk with you! You are too cute!! I am amazed on how smart you are! Good luck tomorrow! We are always praying for you! You continue to stay strong as always!!!!
Glad to hear all is going well. Maggie just rode her tricycle in a big circle to benefit St. Jude. She liked to hear that she was helping little kids like you, just by riding her bike.
Hey Kacey! All I have been hearing is good news. That’s fantastic. You did have to go to the hospital yesterday, but you were fine, all you needed was a blood transfusion, you just needed it a little early. I can’t wait until you come home!!! I havn’t seen you in a whole week! Thats not right :)!! I really love you Kacey, more then any 2 year old. I pray and pray for you. Every Night. I know you are going to make it through this, because you are strong, stronger then any 2 year old. You always get back up. Try Again. I love you. I can’t wait until I get to babysit you in the summer, we are going to have to much fun. We could go in the pool, and if not this summer next summer. If you can’t this summer, we can get wet in the sprinkler! I just can’t wait. You are so fun to play with, its not like “ug i dont want to play with kacey” its a “kacey? oh course I will play with Kacey! Why wouldn’t i?” I just can’t wait to play with you today. Stay Strong, I know you will. Love you sooooooooooo much.
Hi Kacey,
Just checking in to see how you are doing. We are still trying to catch up with Mommy.
Kristina - don’t get too nervous yet. High temps are very scary but Kacey will be fine.
We will check in later.
Love Katie’s Mommy, Katie, Matt & Stella
Sorry to hear that you are back in the hospital a little earlier then expected, but you will overcome this and be just fine. Kacey is so strong and amazing, we know that all will be well. Hang in there Kristina and Glenn.
Hi Kacey Rose…….we are praying for you! We know that this fever is going to break and you are going to be fine. Stay strong - as you always have been. We love you very much!! We are constantly thinking of you and Mommy and Daddy. Kris & Glen - Hang in there. You have a VERY strong little girl and she is going to fight through this! We love you all!
Hi pretty….just wanted to let you know that I’m thinking of you! You are one tough cookie - stay that way for the rest of your life! I love you very much!!! I’m so glad that you’re home and I’m sure you’re outside playing a lot with your “bro”!!! I’ll see you over the weekend!
Hey Sweetie… We promise to only imagine you well and growing up from here on out. There will be no invitation for fear and sadness, just hope and wellness. We all need to picture you running and playing, going to school, combing your long hair, dancing, singing, cartwheeling and becoming a young lady while living your life. We can not allow any other thought to invite more suffering. You have already done enough of that. You are strong, blessed and healthy. You will have one more treatment to slam the door shut PERMANENTLY on an awful time. From that day forward, you are a survivor, a fighter, and a teacher. Your parents were amazing through this, Kacey.
we are thinking of you Kacey! I am sure you are having a wonderful time being at home with your family! We pray for you everyday that the cancer will stay away forever! You are such a brave little girl! One more round and you are done with Chemo! Keep up the good work baby girl! Your mommy and daddy love you so much! You are such a lucky little girl to have such wonderful parents who love you as much as they do! We pray for you everyday!
Hi Kacey! I heard ALL about your photo shoot, and you beautiful dress! I can’t wait to see the pictures. I love you! As always :). I am coming to see you today. I am giving you some presents! Trust me. Your going to love it. You are going back to the hospital tomorrow, this is your last one! Your last one. I can’t believe how fast this went. Soon, at the end of the summer, you are going to come everyday to come swimming with me. I noticed that all you hear about is bad stories, bad endings. Luckly, you will be in the one good story, the one good ending. Stay strong big girl. I know you will. I pray for you every night, that you will make it through another and another night. I am so happy for you, its your last chemo treatment!
Kacey Rose….you are almost there…one more round to go!! Stay strong through this as you have been all along! Our thoughts and prayers are CONSTANTLY with you!! We’ll see you home real soon!!

Well, little girl…ALL DONE. Now just continue to do what you have been doing for the past months and you’ll be fine. Moving forward you may hit a bump or two, nothing you haven’t done before, and plummeted through. Your mommy and daddy have been waiting for this day for what seems like a lifetime. Now, it’s time to re-start living, looking forward to the beautiful young woman you will become one day. I look forward to being witness to that.

Hi Little Kacey…The Halls talk about and pray for you every day. We know that you will get home and be rid of this soon. We miss hearing from across the street, you saying, “Moriah, Moriah…” We will see you real soon when you are finally moving forward, (quickly as you do) and moving on. Love, hugs and kisses.
Hi Kacey, its me again…
I think God made it rain tonight so that all the fireworks would be cancelled ,because he knew you wouldn’t be able to go to them. Many of them are rescheduled for Saturday when I KNOW you will have a WBC that allows you to go see them. I hope you feel better very soon!
Love,
Tristan
Hi pretty….it was so great to see you the other night. You look so great and have such great spirits and an incredible personality. Our prayers are continuing and we know that you are going to beat this fever and be back home again before you know it.
Stay strong Kacey Rose….we love you very, very much!!
I’ve been reading all about your progress and hearing all about you through Katie Bean and Tristan - and how nice to have you sign in at Aaron’s site. Cancer is ugly, there is no doubt about that but how beautiful to see the outpouring of support and love from others. We’ll keep you in our thoughts and prayers!
Kacey, I am so glad to hear you are going home. When I came home from vacation Thursday and read your update I was very sad. Now I am happy, you are doing very well and will soon be leading a normal life with your parents and brother.
Kris, the news is wonderful. I was really upset with the updates, but everything will be OK now.
Who did I see today at my door???? A beautiful, bright, Nemo loving girl who is ready to P-L-A-Y, play!! I saw your hair blowing in the wind (lots of new ones) and a smile that out-shines the sun in the sky. Congratulations. You have won. We are thrilled to see you home and will be chasing you around the “dirty” yard soon!! Love ya!!

I am not sure if you are aware of the Ronald McDonald House in New Haven. My cousin stayed there when her infant daughter was born with an illness. The place is wonderful. It is truly amazing. They only ask for a 15$ donation per day and also offer a shuttle to and from the hospital. You can ask a hospital social worker for more info. If you are staying there I would like to pay for a night or to for you. I haven’t been able to get your little pumpkin out of my mind. I want to help in anyway possible. Love your babies they are the greatest gift!!! Stay strong.
March 19th, 2007 at 1:50 pm
Amanda,
Thanks for the offer.
Dad

Hi Kacey,
You don’t know us but we know your Mommy and Daddy.

Kristina, Kelley told me about Kacey and this horrible disease she is so bravely fighting. I saw your story on the news the other night, you brought tears to my eyes I can see how scared you are for her. I can not possibly imagine how hard this must be for you and your family. But she is a pretty strong little girl who will make it through this . Because she has the love and support of a wonderful family. Kristina I just wanted you to know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you . You have a beautiful family. Please give my best to your Mom and Grandma. With Love, Kim

Hi Kristina, Glen, Kacey & Max,
We want you to know our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.

Lisa
March 21st, 2007 at 5:34 pm
Thanks to Lisa, I was just watched the newscast that I missed the other night. You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers! We are looking forward to Saturday night. Keep fighing Kacey, like Katie Pagano says, you can do it!!! At one of Tristan’s bone marrow drives, my husband and I became registered to become donors. I hope some day we are able to help someone like Kacey and your family. Take care, sweet girl. And Mommy and Daddy too.

Hello Kacey: I will keep you in my prayers little one. May God watch over you and answer our prayers. May His angels watch over you and your family.
March 22nd, 2007 at 6:47 am
I love you all….
Auntie
March 22nd, 2007 at 8:34 am
God Speed!
March 22nd, 2007 at 12:46 pm
Bless you
Michael

Hey there Kacey, Kristina and Glenn!!
Hugs to all of you!

Thanks!!
;D

God Speed,

Our prayers are with you today so you will have a great checkup at the clinic. I am so happy to hear about your wonderful Easter weekend. You deserve that and so much more. I hope you got my Easter card with the little stickers in it. We are thinking of you all the time.
Love and hugs.

April 12th, 2007 at 5:46 pm
Moriah(Again, I love you)

Glen, Kris, Kacey and Max…we are so happy I can’t even express it to it’s fullest extent. Yes, our prayers are answered and little girl is going to beat the odds. Those bright, gleaming eyes are very telling. They say, “I am strong, I am beautiful and I am full of life”! I have always loved her spunk and love it even more now.
Thank you, God for answering, “yes” today.

May 10th, 2007 at 7:10 am
Kristina,
Just want to tell you that the feelings you are having are perfectly normal.

Hey, Kacey..
Glad to hear all is going well. Maggie just rode her tricycle in a big circle to benefit St. Jude. She liked to hear that she was helping little kids like you, just by riding her bike.
Wishing you the best — enjoy the sunshine.

I love you Kacey…
Lots of love,
Moriah

Well, little girl…ALL DONE. Now just continue to do what you have been doing for the past months and you’ll be fine. Moving forward you may hit a bump or two, nothing you haven’t done before, and plummeted through. Your mommy and daddy have been waiting for this day for what seems like a lifetime. Now, it’s time to re-start living, looking forward to the beautiful young woman you will become one day. I look forward to being witness to that.

Love,
Tristan
